Lekker smakebit!
Det er med lidenskap og teknisk brilljans Anna Valentik framfører musikk av Sergei Rachmaninov.
Det er lett å registrere at hennes tolkninger av musikken er basert på stor kunnskap, og hennes spill er sprell levende og resultatet en lekker smakebit på noe stort.
Rachmaninovs musikk kan av mange oppfattes både som melankolsk og poetisk, noe Anna Valentik på en strålende måte klarer å formidle til lytteren.
Formidlingen en "ren", og samtidig har hennes tolkninger en tyngde som går rett inn i kategorien "vel verd å lytte til".
Verd å merke seg er også hvordan Valentik maler ut platas sentrale verk, "Variations over a theme by Corelli ("La Folia").
Hun gir musikken tid til å puste og klarer på den måten å dyrke verkets spesielle og vakre atmosfære.
Mye honnør går også til teknikere fra Lindberg Lyd, som atter en gang har skapt et fantastisk lydbilde.

Tasty Morsel!
Anna Valentik performs music by Sergei Rachmaninov with passion and technical
brilliance.
It is easy to understand that her interpretation of the music is based on deep knowledge, and her performance is vibrantly alive - and the result a tasty morsel of something profound.
Many will experience the music of Rachmaninov as both melancholic and poetic, which Anna Valentik in a virtuosic manner manages to convey to the listener.
The presentation is “clean”, while her interpretations simultaneously convey a depth straight into the category of “music of real worth”.
Particularly noteworthy is also how Valentik adds personal colour to the key work of the recording: "Variations on a Theme by Corelli ("La Folia")".
She allows the music time to breathe, and in that way manages to rarefy the unique and beautiful atmosphere of the work.
Great acclaim must also go to the technicians from the Norwegian label 2L (Lindberg
Lyd), who have once again created a magnificent sonic image.
